Saint Peter the Fisherman Ninilchik Community Church

Welcome to our Church Family

A family where relationship takes precedence over religion ~ Knowing Jesus and making Jesus known.

Luke 10:27 NIV

He answered, ‘ “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ “

Meet Our Church Family

  • St. Peter the Fisherman NCC originally began in 1950 as a united Methodist Church. For a wonderful season that is where God called us to be. Then in December of 2022 we parted, on friendly terms, recognizing that our paths were leading different directions, and became a Nondenominational Church.

  • I believe in one God, who is the Father almighty, and intentional creator of all things, both seen and unseen, physical and spiritual.

I believe in God’s one and only Son, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born into humanity through the Virgin Mary and conceived through God’s Holy Spirit. It is through witnessing Jesus’ living example that we may witness God and direct our actions. Jesus allowed Himself to die on a cross, under the hand of Pontius Pilate as the only perfect way to make right all our individual wrongs. Death could hold no power over Him, and after three days, Jesus rose again. He did this to pay the price for each of us and to offer all, the opportunity to be in a perfect love relationship with God.

It is only through this act and the grace of God that we may have a relationship with a perfect God.

Jesus ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus will return in triumph to judge those who have gone on before and those still living on earth. His glory and rule will be eternal. Our physical death is an eternal beginning with God.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Giver of life, the Word, the power and breath of the Father and the Son, the Comforter sent to live within our hearts. If we choose to invite God’s strength to dwell in us, the breath of God will help us turn our lives to God’s light and walk in a righteous love relationship with God, humanity, and all God’s creation. The Bible is a perfect guidebook to direct us for living a love relationship with God and all humankind.
